About the Role Sompo is seeking a VP, Claims Technical Lead, Workers’ Comp for our North America Insurance Claims team. This role will manage day-to-day operations of the Workers’ Compensation claims team for Sompo, supervise the internal Sompo TPA oversight claims team, manage TPAs who handle claims on Sompo’s behalf, and collaborate with internal and external partners. The position is based out of Irvine, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Charlotte, NC. What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day management of the Worker’s Compensation claims team and related systems and processes.
- Develop, implement and drive effective oversight practices ensuring best-in-class handling of Workers’ Comp claims for Sompo insureds.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of matters to Underwriting and Senior Management.
