About the Role UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center offers volunteers a chance to join a community that supports therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, and related programs. Volunteers may contribute in multiple roles across a 96-acre facility, including horse leadership, side walking, unmounted assistance, barn support, office tasks, internships, and group projects. What You'll Do
- As a horse leader or handler, you are responsible for the horse and should be alert and aware of the horse's behavior at all times. All those handling horses in therapeutic riding or driving lessons or hippotherapy sessions must attend both Taking the Lead and UpReach volunteer training.
