Vehicle Maintenance Technician I
Under directive supervision, this position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections and basic repairs on utility vehicles and equipment. Includes, but is not limited to passenger cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, medium and heavy trucks, trailers, and off-road equipment. Maintenance operations may take place in the garage or at field locations during various work schedules depending on business needs. Performs such duties as:
Responsibilities for Vehicle Maintenance Tech I:
- Assist with Federal DOT inspections.
- Assist on dielectric test inspections.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on light and medium vehicles, (gas & diesel) forklifts, trailers, and powered equipment.
- Maintain the appropriate level of technical competence required to diagnose and repair vehicles/equipment.
