Job Summary
The social worker is responsible for preparing and conducting PSS activities and overseeing the awareness raising activities and the work of the outreach volunteers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Promote and introduce the International Medical Corps (IMC) integrated approach to VAWG services to institutions, centers, Primary Health Care centers (PHCs) and individuals.
- Plan and conduct psycho-social support sessions to beneficiaries at the Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSSs), the primary health care centers, the community centers and outreach field level.
- Identify opportunities for awareness raising, whether at a community center or other safe space.
