About this role
About the Role The Varsity Home Events Assistant supports the Home Operations Manager to ensure a positive experience for spectators, athletes, and coaches during Stonehill's varsity home events. The role involves hands-on event operations, equipment setup, and on-site support during games. What You'll Do
- Operate the scoreboard during home events
- Play audio for games via laptop
- Assist with on-field/court ball retrieval
- Handle ticketing for events
- Set up and take down athletic equipment for each event
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work weekdays/nights and weekends (possible Family Weekend & Spring Weekend)
- Adhere to dress code: black khaki pants/shorts and staff shirt/jacket provided What We're Looking For
- Federal Work Study award holder
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- General knowledge of athletic competition
