Overview
Despegar is seeking a Planning & Control professional based in Buenos Aires to lead both short- and long-term forecasting processes. The role involves coordinating inputs from different areas of the company, consolidating planning deliverables, and presenting insights to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Lead short- and long-term forecasting processes and coordinate inputs from across the company.
- Prepare, consolidate, and present the main Planning deliverables, including budgets, forecasts, and run-rate projections.
- Analyze results from Despegar Group businesses to identify opportunities and threats.
- Simplify and automate internal processes, including spreadsheet creation, presentations, and reporting.
- Maintain budgetary control, detect and analyze deviations between actual results and estimated budgets, and issue alerts with proactive mitigation plans.
