Unit Clerk - OB/Gyn Clinic
About this role
Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Unit Clerk for the OB/Gyn Clinic at the Main Facility. This role supports the Clinic Nurse Manager or Clinic Administrator by planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activities on the nursing unit. The position is full time with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Medical Center’s philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures, including safety rules and the Code of Conduct.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately with all team members.
- Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, Providers or designee, perform documentation, communication, and scheduling of patients’ activities and tests.
- Process orders in the computer system to appropriate ancillary services (Dietary, Respiratory Care, Radiology, Laboratory, Social Services).
