About the Role As a Trade Operations Specialist, you will drive broker management and trade compliance to reduce landed costs and improve operational efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure export control, customs, licensing, and cargo security functions are effectively managed in regional operations. What You'll Do
- Drive operational excellence with peers and cross-functional teams on broker management and opportunities in reducing landed cost.
- Manage local Trade Compliance/Operations functions: Export Control; Customs/Import Management; Country of Origin; Duty Management and Free Trade Optimization; Product license/permit and Cargo Security.
- Work with customs broker and freight forwarders to improve customs process efficiency, shorten customs clearance lead time and resolve/eliminate root causes for OTD delays.
