About the Role Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks a proactive Total Vehicle Evaluation Engineer I for the Total Vehicle Evaluation Team. The role supports safety, customer satisfaction and warranty reduction by overseeing total vehicle performance management through static and dynamic evaluations of Hyundai Motor Group vehicles for the North American market. What You'll Do
- Evaluate the total performance (e.g., powertrain, ride and handling, NVH, brakes, ADAS, human factors, etc.) of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis prototype, pilot, and production vehicles
- Plan, organize, and execute ride-and-drive activities for prototype and pilot Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles
- Plan and organize vehicle test events, including proving ground tests, off-road venue tests, and cross-functional seasonal tests (i.e., hot/cold weather)
