About the Role The Tooling Engineer supports the ordering, release and management of production tooling (rework tools, hand tools, clip guns, etc.) during product changes and new introductions. You will act as the interface between production engineering and suppliers for new tooling, drive change and project management activities, and ensure tool readiness, maintenance, and traceability across plants.
What You'll Do
- Manage ordering and release of rework tools, hand tools, clip guns, etc. during product changes and new introductions (Change Management & Project Management)
- Act as interface between production engineers and suppliers for new tooling designs
- Install and support process releases for foaming tools, moulding tools and other tooling (robot integration, AGV, VR glass, etc.)
