About the Role
Role focused on managing the ordering and release of tooling during product changes and new introductions, combining change management and project management. It involves acting as the interface between production engineers and tooling suppliers for newly designed tools, and installing and supporting process releases for foaming and moulding tooling and other advanced tooling (robotics, AGVs, VR glass). The position also creates Maintenance Working Instructions for all tools and ensures the maintenance team is trained and coached, and works to establish setup parameters. What You'll Do
- Manage ordering and release of rework tools, handy tools, clip guns, etc., during product changes and new introductions (Change Management & Project Management)
- Act as interface between production engineer and supplier for any newly designed tool
