Ticker Coordinator
CBS Sports is looking for a Ticker Coordinator to assist in the production of content for the tickers of CBS Sports Network, CBS Sports HQ and the Golazo Network. The ideal candidate will use deep sports knowledge, solid writing skills and sound news judgment to provide statistical, analytical and other information to support the ticker in a timely and relevant manner.
Responsibilities
- Working with colleagues to write and edit news and information in a real-time environment
- Making editorial decisions on what information to run in the ticker
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of on-air content
- Researching original material using statistical tools and databases, social media, and other media outlets
