- Unload grain and grain by-products from trucks.
- Complete pre- and post-track checks to verify the accuracy of loads and empties on the train list.
- Safely operate door guns, car vibrators, and open/close rail hopper doors and hatches while working at heights and near moving rail cars and barges.
- Clean barge covers and walkways after loading using leaf blowers, brooms, shovels and/or water.
- Recognize and identify various grains and grain by-products.
