About the Role The Center for Host-Pathogen Interaction in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a short-term casual employee to join the Division of Critical Care Medicine. The role supports research on viral entry and membrane fusion mechanisms, using virology, cell biology, biochemistry, structural and computational biology to identify strategies to prevent infection. The candidate will perform experiments and assist with data analysis in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment at CUIMC. What You'll Do
- Perform laboratory procedures including cell culturing, enzymatic assays, native electrophoresis, and fluorescent scanning.
- Use new techniques to advance research progress and perform statistical analysis of data.
- Prepare and present internal progress reports on experiments.
