About the Role
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware invites applications for several temporary, full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor. A one-year appointment begins August 16, 2026 and is renewable at most twice subject to department needs and satisfactory performance.
What You'll Do
- Teach 12 credits per semester during the Fall and Spring terms, and collaborate with other instructors in coordinated courses.
- Use active-learning approaches and other evidence-based teaching methods; participate in the University’s Mathematical Sciences Learning Laboratory (MSLL) initiatives when assigned.
- Contribute to general education mathematics courses (quantitative reasoning/literacy) and/or intermediate courses such as discrete mathematics, differential equations, and/or statistics as needed.
