About the Role The Travelers Company is seeking a Technical Specialist in the Strategic Resolution Group to handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct and/or environmental claims with significant financial exposures. Under general supervision, you will manage moderate to large exposure claims with complex liability and coverage issues, developing strategies to resolve efficiently while upholding Travelers' commitment to service and legal accuracy. What You'll Do
- Coverage Research and Analysis: Research policies issued by multiple legacy companies, analyze coverage, prepare coverage recommendations and communicate positions to policyholders or their representatives.
- Liability Investigation and Analysis: Investigate claim facts, apply evolving legal concepts, evaluate damages, and recommend appropriate course of action; stay aware of emerging litigation trends.
