Job title: Teaching Assistant
About the Role Armthorpe Academy, part of Consilium Academies, is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fixed-term contract running until 31 December 2026, with 32.5 hours per week (term-time plus 5 days), starting September 2026.
What You'll Do
- Support pupils with learning activities and classroom engagement.
- Work with students with additional needs, including SEN.
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Help students to achieve their individual learning goals.

- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
