About the Role The Governors of Bishop Walsh Catholic School are seeking to appoint a passionate, driven, and forward-thinking Teacher of PE. We are looking for a practitioner with strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to securing excellent progress for all students. This is a full-time fixed-term maternity cover starting 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2027, with a view to extension to 18 July 2027.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons to Key Stages 3-5 and assess student progress.
- Monitor and report on pupil attainment, using data to inform planning and interventions.
- Promote safeguarding, the Catholic ethos, and the aims of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Multi Academy and contribute to extra-curricular PE activities.
