About the Role Carrier seeks a System Engineer to develop innovative chiller solutions by integrating multiple technologies into product designs. The role requires a strong understanding of chiller thermodynamics, modeling, heat transfer, pressure vessel design and compression applications to meet market needs. What You'll Do
- Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design
- Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements
- Develop and optimize heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts
- Validate product design performance, capability and reliability in the laboratory and field
- Collaborate with the compression team to seamlessly integrate the compressor design into the chiller design
- Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target
