Position Summary
The Safety and Security Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and productive high-volume Distribution Center in Ottawa, KS during the weekend daylight shift. This role coordinates day-to-day activities across the weekend to ensure consistent implementation of safety policies, incident response, and security protocols.
Role & Responsibilities
Safety Duties
- Weekend Point of Contact: Act as the primary safety resource and point of contact for all weekend operational departments.
- Incident Response & Support: Respond promptly to safety incidents and medical events. Assist with initial documentation, witness statements, and reporting to support the operations team.
- Investigation Quality: Lead thorough accident and near-miss investigations for weekend events, utilizing root-cause analysis to deploy immediate and appropriate corrective actions.
