About the Role Pines of Sarasota is seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher for an on-call, part-time role. The position reports to the Childcare Director and is responsible for planning and directing activities that meet the care and developmental needs of each child. - Personally provide care and comfort to the center’s infants as per parent’s wishes and Pines Childcare Center policies.
- Deliver activities to assure the basic educational needs of the children are met.
- Follow daily classroom schedules to assure achievement of goals and plans.
- Maintain an environment that promotes good health, safety and cleanliness.
- Monitor the play of children as appropriate.
