Description

• The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for preparing and cleaning the studios before and after classes as well as assisting the professor and students during the class.

• Examples of Duties

Teaching Assistant:

• Provide guidance to students
• Class/lab work, grade quizzes, set up experiments, take down experiments hold office hours, hold problem solving sessions
• Assisting faculty with classroom instruction, records, and assignments
• Lead student discussion sections
• Meeting with students during office hours
• Conferencing with students individually or in small groups
• Delivering lectures and guest lectures
• Grading assignments or papers
• Managing course communications
• Preparing laboratory materials
• Recording and calculating grades

Laboratory Assistant:

• Enforcing laboratory rules and procedures
