About the Role Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking an experienced Structural Estimator to support material takeoffs, cost analysis, and preparation and presentation of discipline estimates for large and complex projects. This role includes maintaining historical databases and assisting in developing department procedures, with targeted markets including Nuclear, DOE, and DOD contracts. What You'll Do
- Review RFP to determine scope of work and estimate requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and related documentation
- Develop an estimate to support proposal creation and bid submittal documents, especially for complex pricing sheets (bid forms, bid tabs)
- Determine labor, material, construction equipment, subcontract, and other direct costs for self-performed construction
