About the Role Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking a Structural Assembler I to join our Salt Lake City site. This hands-on role involves assembling major composite and metallic structures for aerospace programs, including drilling, bonding, sealing, and checking tolerances to support flight-critical assemblies. What You'll Do
- Assemble major structures including hand drilling of composites and metals; install brackets, nut plates, clips, rivets, and pins.
- Bond metallics and composite materials; mix and apply sealants; perform torque checks; set pins.
- Operate hand and semi-automated drills; match drill; read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints; follow engineering orders.
- Work with overhead crane; maintain a clean, organized work area per schedules. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma; 1+ years hands-on aircraft assembly experience.
