About this role
Overview
A reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper is needed to manage inventory and oversee daily warehouse/store operations in Mushin, Lagos in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and materials.
- Issue and dispatch products accurately based on approved requests.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper arrangement of goods using FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages promptly.
- Supervise loading and offloading of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/warehouse.
- Prevent stock loss, theft, and damage through proper control measures.
- Work closely with the sales and distribution teams for smooth operations.
