Staff Pharmacist - Accredo - Remote/Onsite (ESSDS)
The Staff Pharmacist is an integral part of the Express Scripts Specialty Distribution Services (ESSDS) team. ESSDS Pharmacists are trained on the specialty medications dispensed and medical conditions encountered in the unique patient population serviced. The position entails patient care and requires frequent use of clinical knowledge and discretion due to the complexity of the therapies and conditions they treat. Staff Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring required REMS counseling and other requirements are met in the patient’s course of therapy and are often escalation point to ensure any needs are addressed. Unique aspects of this role include pharmacovigilance reporting, acting as clinical subject matter expert for a niche area, and support of large team of other pharmacists.
