About the Role Rutgers University Correctional Health Care is seeking a Per Diem Staff Nurse for Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ. The Staff Nurse utilizes the nursing process to meet a variety of health care needs with ambulatory care as a primary focus, working with health care professionals and security officers in a correctional environment and frequently serving as a team leader as assigned.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to inmate patients, including adults (18 to 64 years) and geriatrics (65+), within the correctional system.
- Utilize the nursing process to meet physiological, psychosocial and emotional needs; follow established nursing protocols.
