About this role
About the Role The Staff Mobile Engineer will serve as a technical leader and contributor for Hatch's mobile code powering the connected sleep ecosystem. You will lead engineering development for our iOS and Android apps, partnering with Product and Design to deliver customer-focused features and ensure platform reliability. What You'll Do
- Learn & contribute in the first 90 days, review codebase and ship meaningful production code
- Lead delivery of features, debug cross-platform issues spanning mobile/firmware/backend
- Build context on how the full mobile platform fits together and contribute to initiatives improving reliability and daily app engagement
- Own architectural problems, partner with stakeholders, and present proposals to Mobile Strategy and Engineering Forum
- Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative team culture
