About the Role The Advanced Product Development group within Intuitive Surgical is searching for a hands-on engineer with a focus on the mechanical design of next generation surgical robot systems and robotic components, contributing to the exploration of new applications of surgical robotics. What You'll Do
- Design and develop mechanical components and subsystems for next-generation robotic systems.
- Build, prototype, test, and iterate designs to meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, clinical, and manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to exploration and assessment of new surgical robotics applications.
- Support design verification, validation documentation, and design rationale. What We're Looking For
- Hands-on mechanical design experience with robotics or precision mechanisms.
