The Role The mission of the GM EDI team is to develop, execute, and maintain an EDI strategy that enables GM to exchange business data across its supply chain quickly, accurately, securely, and at scale. Success in this role requires strong command of GM EDI standards, trading partner processes, enterprise integration patterns, and the business processes that support Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, and Retail Sales. The GM EDI Team is seeking a Senior System Engineer to partner across internal IT teams, business stakeholders, external trading partners, and strategic SaaS vendors. This role is ideal for a senior-level EDI professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong systems thinking, business process knowledge, and the ability to influence modern integration solutions.
