About the Role This is an on-field service engineer role based in Chennai, responsible for onsite technical service support including installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, and customer training. The position also supports service revenue growth by promoting service contracts, consumables, and upgrade or replacement opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Attend and resolve customer equipment breakdowns within the assigned region
- Install, commission, and maintain Videojet equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance as per defined schedules
- Diagnose technical issues and provide effective corrective actions
- Raise spare part requests and close service transactions under warranty, CAMP, or chargeable services
- Promote service contracts and consumables to customers
