About the Role To provide technical execution and operational leadership for mine planning, geotechnical control and contractor management on subsurface projects, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective extraction that meets project targets. What You'll Do
- Execute short-term and medium-term mine plans and production schedules; coordinate with operations to meet targets.
- Optimise mining methods, panel layouts and sequences based on geological inputs and engineering judgement as designed by the seniors.
- Monitor production performance, analyse variances and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
- Oversee site geotechnical monitoring and ground control measures; work with geo-mechanics team to address stability or subsidence concerns.
