About the Role Join us as a Software Engineer in our critical Scam Prevention team. This is a high-impact engineering role with a strong product focus, dedicated to solving complex, real-world adversarial problems to directly protect our global customer base. What You'll Do
- Build and refine critical controls to prevent Wise customers from scams.
- Drive Backend and Frontend for scam prevention and detection systems (80% backend, 20% frontend).
- Deliver tangible, real-world impact by securing customers' money, raising automation levels, and helping engineer a world-class money transfer product. What We're Looking For
- Professional experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, including the Spring framework.
- Experience building and designing scalable web applications handling large amounts of traffic; ideally with React-based frontend applications and JavaScript/TypeScript.
