About this role
About the Role Site Supervisor reports to the Senior Key Account Manager and oversees the daily running of the waste segregation operations at multiple Great Western Railway sites across Cornwall, Devon, Bristol and Reading, ensuring full site compliance. The role involves efficient deployment of staff and resources and promoting recycling and diversion from landfill, with a hybrid working pattern that combines on-site leadership and hands-on duties. What You'll Do
- Day-to-day management of on-site teams including recruitment, provision of PPE, attendance management, and performance management.
- Perform waste segregation on the ground alongside existing staff to maximise productivity.
- Spend at least 3 days per week on-site with the team and 2 days remote.
- Conduct site audits in line with policies and procedures.
