About this role
About the Role Site Engineer to ensure site activities are executed in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulatory and engineering standards, serve as onsite link between project engineers and fabrication/construction contractors, and ensure onsite quality assurance. The role focuses on on-site oversight, safety, and project interface management to support successful execution in Niger Delta oil & gas projects. What You'll Do
- Ensuring compliance with all the technical requirements of assigned projects
- Providing oversight and onsite inspection of executed work, including welding procedures, NDT, coatings, and materials quality control
- Pre-mobilizing inspection of contractor's equipment to ensure fit-for-purpose and current certifications
- Managing the interface between the project engineers and contractors
