About this role
About the Role Be responsible for the daily running of the re-use shop at Walsall HWRC, ensuring stock is well presented, accurately priced and ready for sale, while delivering great customer service. You’ll work with the re-use hub manager to maintain stock levels and promote the charitable re-use scheme to support social projects. What You'll Do
- Operate the cash register, counting and reconciling cash and card receipts, processing returns and refunds
- Merchandise stock, organise, prepare, price and present donations for sale to increase sales
- Manage stock and communicate stock needs to the re-use hub manager
- Ensure goods are sold at appropriate value and that rejected items are disposed of appropriately
- Arrange collections and deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Maintain the security of the shop premises, stock and cash
