About this role
About the Role As a shop operative at the Connon Bridge HWRC re-use shop, you will be responsible for the daily running of the shop, ensuring stock is fully stocked, stored correctly, and prepared for sale, while delivering an excellent customer experience. The role supports SUEZ's re-use project to resell donated items and generate funds for social projects in Greater Manchester. What You'll Do
- Merchandise, organise, prepare, price and present donations for sale to maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage stock and communicate stock needs to the re-use hub manager to keep the shop stocked.
- Operate the cash register, count/reconcile cash and card receipts, process returns and refunds.
- Ensure goods are sold at appropriate value and properly dispose of rejected items.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
