About the Role The Shell Room Lead directs daily operations within the shell room in Groton, CT, guiding team members and ensuring execution of the production plan with limited supervision. The role maintains workflow, enforces process discipline, and aims to meet daily department commit targets.
What You'll Do
- Execute and adjust daily production priorities to meet department commit targets (throughput, ESH, productivity).
- Prioritize and assign work across all shell operations, including Prime, Backup, Robots (R1/R3), Drybox, and Debase flow.
- Effectively utilize personnel based on skill level to maintain consistent production flow and minimize bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict adherence to all process control procedures, work instructions, and WIP movement requirements.
