About this role
About the Role Join Vestas as a Service Technician and play an important part in keeping wind turbines running while contributing to the transition to renewable energy. You will leverage electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic experience and benefit from technical training, with safety embedded in day-to-day processes. This role covers regional Australia and is not a FIFO position, requiring you to be based in the region and travel to sites as needed. What You'll Do
- Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring service targets are met
- Carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications, including replacement and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
- Ensure smooth operation of turbines and use of our condition monitoring and remote control systems
