About the Role Senior Test Engineer II at Microchip Technology Inc. will design and maintain automated test stations for a broad portfolio of discrete, MMIC, and GaN RF/microwave products. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable test solutions and may mentor junior engineers. What You'll Do
- Design, upgrade, and maintain automated test stations, fixtures, and interfaces.
- Develop and maintain associated test software and data structures.
- Design or select test fixtures, sockets, and interface PCBs.
- Design test interface hardware.
- Evaluate, select, and procure test equipment and software solutions that provide effective and cost-efficient support for production and engineering needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product line management, and engineering support.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
