About the Role The Senior Supplier Crisis & Risk Leader / Task Force Leader is part of Volvo Group's Crisis and Risk Management team in North America. The role focuses on managing supplier delivery crises, assessing risk, and mitigating impacts to production and aftermarket sites, while strengthening future risk resilience. What You'll Do
- Coordinate delivery crisis management and provide supply chain expertise to resolve crises and mitigate impacts.
- Interact with Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Engineering to minimize plant disruptions.
- Identify root causes of crises through deep-dive analysis and problem solving.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve processes.
- Coordinate communication with stakeholders during crises and monitor risk suppliers to prevent crises.
- Contribute to team development and ways of working.
