About the Role The Senior Specialist, Payroll provides client payroll processing and service delivery support for Baker Tilly's clients. This mostly-remote role requires proximity within 50 miles of a Baker Tilly office in TX, WI, or PA to support implementation and client interactions as needed.
What You'll Do
- Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and review payrolls in a timely manner to meet deadlines, update employee records, calculate bonuses or severance, and reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and other payroll related items.
- Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
