Senior Process Automation Engineer (f/m/d) – Downstream Processing Automation
About this role
About the Role You will be the subject-matter expert for process automation (DSP) within a major CAPEX project (> CHF 100 million) to build a new production site in Sisslerfeld, Northwestern Switzerland. The role focuses on downstream automation for unit operations (chromatography, filtration, purification), translating process requirements into automation concepts and leading the integration of DCS/PLC/MES/Historian while ensuring GMP/GAMP5 compliance and data integrity from concept through commissioning. What You'll Do
- Act as technical SME for process automation (DSP) within a major CAPEX project (> CHF 100 million)
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions (Level 0–2.5) for downstream unit operations: Chromatography; Filtration (UF/DF, TFF); Purification processes
- Translate process requirements into automation concepts, batch logic and control strategies
