About the Role Be involved in product development from the conceptual stage to mass production for batteries, chargers and power supplies used in professional and mission-critical two-way communication products. This role supports delivering concepts and production-ready hardware by applying design, process and safety guidelines. What You'll Do
- Prepare new products concept design that meets customer requirements & expectations, design, process & safety guidelines
- Use 3D modeling & surfacing CAD software to design new products
- Interpret & generate 2D drawings per mechanical drafting standard
- Perform mechanical tolerance analysis and DFMEA
- Set up & maintain bill of materials
- Support prototype/pilot builds
- Perform mechanical verification tests per product specifications and write test reports
- Release mechanical prints & parts qualification reports
