About Our Opportunity
Reporting to the Permanent Licensing Manager, Licensing and Registration, the Program Administration Officer 1-2 is responsible for managing the approval, processing and issuance of gaming, place of amusement and special occasion liquor licenses within the parameters of Nova Scotia Alcohol and Gaming Division. This includes ensuring that gaming, liquor and amusement applications comply with regulations made pursuant to the Gaming Control Act, Liquor Control Act, and Theatres and Amusement Act, and other relevant legislation.
Primary Accountabilities
- Directly supervising up to six (6) licensing staff and reviewing recommendations by these officers to ensure overall legislative and program compliance.
- Ensuring proper development and implementation of the Amanda database.
