About the Role
Rutgers Institute for Nicotine and Tobacco Studies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I to conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and related financial management to support the Institute's research programs. Located in New Brunswick, NJ, the role supports budgeting, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with sponsor policies and Rutgers policies.
What You'll Do
- Prepare budget and forecast for units within the Center based on performance, revenue estimates, expense reports, and past budget numbers.
- Support the Institution’s annual RBHS budget preparation.
- Prepare financial analyses and consult with project PIs to monitor progress and adjust plans for long-term planning, including monitoring subawards.
- Review and approve expenditures to ensure compliance with budget and sponsor policies and Rutgers policies.
