About the Role Senior Engineer - Metallurgy will oversee a designated area to ensure safe operations, drive production, quality, delivery and cost targets, and lead heat-treatment related activities, including furnace operation and process development.
What You'll Do
- Supervise employees in the metallurgical/heat-treatment area to ensure a safe work environment and achievement of production, quality, delivery and cost goals.
- Ensure successful running of all furnaces, troubleshoot issues, and maintain product quality to standard.
- Support manufacturing activities related to heat treatment, including development of new heat-treatment processes, testing new parts, and installation of new heat-treatment equipment.
