About the Role This Senior EHS&S Specialist oversees all Environment, Health, Safety, and Physical Security (EHS&S) programming at a single Altoona, Iowa facility with no direct reports. The role administers the facility’s OSHA and EPA compliance, workers’ compensation, medical case management, and reports to the Manager of EHS&S while partnering with the plant leadership team. What You'll Do
- Serve as the site leader implementing and sustaining the Marzetti EHS&S management system.
- Act as the MOE Safety Pillar Champion for the facility.
- Coordinate the facility’s Behavior Based Safety program and analyze data from observations.
- Consult with other EHS&S management teams on compliance and policy matters.
- Lead hazard identification and abatement with operations.
- Represent the company in compliance enforcement actions and any litigation.
