About the Role The Senior Director, Government Affairs (Life Sciences) develops and executes comprehensive legislative, regulatory, and public policy strategies to advance Danaher's life sciences portfolio at federal and state levels. Located in Washington, D.C., this role leads high‑level advocacy, builds strategic partnerships, and provides executive‑level counsel on complex policy issues affecting life sciences and healthcare. What You'll Do
- Lead development and execution of government affairs strategies for Danaher's life sciences portfolio, aligning policy objectives with corporate goals.
- Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and operating company leaders on legislative, regulatory, and policy matters.
- Direct high‑level advocacy campaigns with Congress, the Executive Branch, and federal agencies (FDA, CMS, NIH, CDC, HHS).
