About the Role The Senior Cost Accountant for Complete Built Unit (CBU) uses analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to support six annual budget events, ensure accurate reporting of actual financial data, and provide detailed budget-to-actual analysis. They calculate the total cost (parts, labor, overhead) and price of a finished product, with autonomy and a direct impact on Honda’s financial statements. What You'll Do
- Perform monthly closing responsibilities related to sales and materials and present results to senior management.
- Conduct sales and materials analysis for six budget events each year and present results to senior management.
- Use analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to create sales breakdowns and profit analysis without supervision.
- Prepare parts and unit pricing quotes without supervision.
